This presentation will go over the preliminary evaluation and internal validation updates for the SeqStudio Flex Analyzer. The considerations prior to purchasing this instrument for capillary electrophoresis will be discussed. A review of the internal validation data to date will be summarized. Additionally, STRmix™ model maker data generated on the SeqStudio Flex Analyzer in comparison to the same data analyzed on a 3500xL will be shown. This side-by-side analysis will reveal the comparability of the two instruments and what implications that will have for subsequent internal validations of STRmix™ with the Applied Biosystems GlobalFiler™ DNA profiling system. Finally, some unique features of this instrument will be highlighted!
